The efforts of the Secretariat for Parish Life and Development are centered on the following:

Building adult Christian communities that are strong in faith, clearly proclaim the Gospel, celebrate vibrant and reverent liturgies and give courageous witness to charity.

Developing leadership in various groups within the Catholic Community.

Fostering respect for, and celebrating and responding to the needs of the diverse groups which make up the Diocesan community.
