Serving people in need is an important part of the mission of The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Foundation. It is a faith-based foundation designed to foster philanthropy and stewardship throughout the diocese in three ways:
- Building on the work of the Church and the community by raising support for endowment, capital improvements and programs that serve the Diocese and its entities.
- Enabling all donors, regardless of religion, to become philanthropists by managing their gifts according to their desires and under the highest professional fund-management standards. Philanthropic vehicles include named funds, donor-advised funds and supporting organizations set up within the Foundation.
- Serving the Diocese and the community by coordinating annual-giving campaigns and special fundraising initiatives conducted on behalf of Diocesan entities that provide operating funds for the work of the Church.
The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Foundation provides a variety of services to Parishes, Diocesan Organizations, Institutions, Schools and Agencies, and Nonprofit and Non-Diocesan Organizations.
